Well, as each day goes it is a new exciting adventure. Today we had our Washer and Dryer delivered. We bought LG front loaders and they are now sitting in the garage. Of course I have already started my 4th load of laundry in them. And am in heaven. No more paying 1.25 a load for me. Matt and I have this ridiculously small closet in the Master Bedroom so we are hanging to rods in it. Well, Matt being the wonderful and some what quirky guy he is, decided he had to paint the closet, which in turn ment patching, sanding, and then painting. Oh, and did I fail to mention he didn't put primer on the walls, so really it needs a second coat. But I think he finally understands that well, its a closet and no one will see it. So since he did this at 10pm, my clothes are still in boxes waiting for the closet to be installed. Men, gotta love them! :)
Back to our Retro House!

The Hallway is well, humm... how do you say a mixture of flowered wall paper with almost a bedroom decor look. The pictures on the wall, which yes came with the house... well one was Mona Lisa that was taken out of a magazine and framed without glass.
The bathroom wallpaper is actually alot of fun, its a blue and pink stripe with cute pink and green flowers on it. The Pink tile is well, ugly! And there is a sliding glass window with a window sil in the shower. I am not sure what they were thinking when they paired it with a fish shower curtain. But hey to each there own.
The Master Bedroom, is huge 10x20, with 2 different kinds of wood paneling. The part with the light wood paneling is where they added on to the house in the 80's. We were really partial to the pinkish/purple carpet.
One of the 2 other rooms, has a little add on room to it, that is full of shelves. From what I have been told they were full of dolls, stacked to the ceiling.

In the 3rd bedroom, this beauty took up 1 whole wall. Yes that is a moose tapestry, with brown carpet pasted on the wall around it. It is so stunning! LOL, also to top it off the walls had blue stripped wallpaper on the other 3 walls, that was being held on with scotchtape.
So for the most part this is our new home in a nutshell. Next up tomorrow.... The Makeover!
